How Fast Financial uses enquiry information.
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Who is responsible for your information?
Fast Financial operates this website and is the data controller for the enquiries it collects. For privacy questions, to withdraw a contact request or to exercise your rights, email contact@fastfinancial.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect the details you submit: your name, contact details and the insurance or mortgage information requested by the relevant form. A life insurance enquiry may include your age, a partner’s age if provided and cover preferences. A mortgage enquiry includes whether you live in or let out the property, an approximate mortgage balance band and the timing of your current deal.
We also record your contact request, the form version, submission date and time, source page and an enquiry reference. Our website and form services may process technical information such as your IP address and browser information for operation, security and spam prevention. We do not ask for medical records, bank details or identity documents in these forms.
How and why we use it
- To respond to the enquiry and contact request you submit.
- To discuss a possible introduction to a relevant specialist firm.
- To keep an accurate enquiry and permission record and handle questions or complaints.
- To protect the website, prevent misuse and maintain its technical operation.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We rely on your consent where you specifically ask to be contacted or give permission for an introduction. We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate website administration, security and record keeping, and legal obligation where the law requires processing. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Who receives your details?
Your enquiry is initially received and stored by Fast Financial. We do not automatically send this form to a pool of brokers or add it to unrelated marketing lists. If we propose sharing it with a third-party specialist, we will explain who will receive it and why, and obtain any permission needed before doing so. A receiving firm may act as an independent controller under its own privacy notice.
Website hosting, form storage and email service suppliers process information where needed to operate the service. Enquiries are stored in our website enquiry records, with notification to our business inbox. Website enquiries are not automatically forwarded to other firms.
Marketing choices
Submitting an enquiry asks us to respond about that enquiry. It does not sign you up to newsletters, unrelated offers or ongoing marketing. Any future marketing consent will be requested separately.
You can object to direct marketing at any time. Contact contact@fastfinancial.co.uk to do so.
How long we keep it
Our normal retention period for enquiry records is up to six months after the last meaningful contact. We review records for deletion rather than keeping them indefinitely. Limited records may be retained longer where needed to handle a complaint, meet a legal obligation or establish or defend legal rights. A receiving firm applies its own retention policy to information it receives.
International processing
Our website and email suppliers may use infrastructure outside the UK. Where a transfer of personal information outside the UK requires safeguards, we must use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism. You can contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
Cookies and website measurement
Our forms retain unfinished answers in the current page while you complete the journey; we do not submit partial contact details as leads. See our cookie policy for information about essential website functions and any future optional measurement tools.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your information, correct it, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing and receive portable data. These rights are subject to legal conditions. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it.
Email us using the address above to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Security and changes
We use access controls and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect enquiry records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We update this notice when our service or data practices change and show the revision date above.
